The DAAF project came to life in January of 2009, by the initiative of two designer friends, Davide Gallo and Stefano Librallon. Davide with a degree in Industrial Design and attested experience in a well-known studio in the city of Padova, district of Venice. Stefano, an ex student just rewarded with a diploma in Interior Design at Istituto Marangoni, Milano.
They both felt as though something was missing, on one side stimulation, satisfaction, experience that could only be offered outside of the usual routines that can be a part of a studio environment. They actually wanted to see some of their own creations come to life, and continued searching for a way of emerging professionally, looking for solutions that would eventually lead them to enter innovative freelance opportunities and consequently have proper recognition for their own capacities. On the other hand the constant need to want to be a part of something bigger, something determining, a world of professionals demanding the same attention for their capacities and values. For all the above mentioned reasons, the idea of creating a “source”, where creatives can get in contact directly with the companies came to mind. This “source” would provide the possibility of getting discovered and hired by companies willing to give internships, projects or collaborations.
Further DAAF offers You the opportunity of beating the sense of boredom ensued by unemployment, common if You just finished school, by participating in contests and competitions. Here You can win awards but more importantly acknowledgement. We want to be a part of bringing out new future talents.

DAAF Portal is a social network meant genuinely and exclusively for employees and professionals.
DAAF is the first portal that allows Design, Architecture, Art and Fashion, the major design titles, to come together, collaborate amongst them, and meet in a unique virtual universe.
